Limoncello is the refreshing lemon liqueur famous across the world. Manufactured in the immediate area around Sorrento and the Amalfi coast it is made from those lemons of the coast which really are bigger and more 'lemony' than most others. If you have ever been to Italy, you'll instantly know about it. It is a liqueur that is served well chilled in the summer months. It is wonderful as a palate cleanser or as an after dinner drink. Keep your bottles of limoncello in the freezer until ready to serve.
