Producer: Montalto is a family-run winery in the west of Sicily. The family coat of arms and the sun that appears on the bottle signify Sicilian warmth and family pride.

Vineyard: Organically grown grapes were cultivated at 400 metres above sea level in the area of Salaparuta in the west of Sicily. The soil is a mixture of clayey and richer soils and the climate is Mediterranean with little rain. The vineyard is free from pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers.

Winery: Grapes were destemmed and crushed and transferred to stainless steel tanks for a twelve-day fermentation. The juice remained on its lees for eight weeks, with lees stirring twice a week throughout.

Taste: Fruity and dry with fresh citrus notes and a crisp, fruity palate. Aromas of apples and nuts with orange and orange peel notes on the palate.
