Vineyard This Pinot Grigio comes from vineyards lying 350-450 metres above sea level in the Dolomites area of Trentino. The soil is very stony, with a high percentage of magnesium. All the vineyards are cultivated along Integrated Farm Management principles, using environmentally friendly treatments, and the grapes were entirely hand picked. Winery The grapes were pressed very gently, with a brief period of skin contact to extract aromas, before a standard fermentation at 18-20 C. The wine was bottled early without oak or malolactic in order to preserve the fresh varietal character. Taste A delicately fruity Pinot Grigio with elegant floral notes, and a refreshing, rounded palate for easy drinking.
