Vicenzi Savoiardi (400g)
Sponge Fingers made by Vicenzi for the traditional Tiramisu dessert or just enjoying on their own.
6-8 person serving of Tiramasu
400g lady fingers, 400 mascarpone, 4 eggs, 100g sugar, 2 cups of espresso, 30g cocoa powder.
Preparation - Beat the egg yolks with sugar until thick and foamy. Whisk in the mascarpone and fold into the softly beaten egg whites. Line a rectangular dish with half the ladies fingers dipped into the coffee and spread over half of the mascarpone cream.
Top with a second layer of dipped ladies fingers and marcarpone cream. Sift the cocoa powder over the whole surface. Refrigerate until serving.
This simple yet delicious dessert is a winner every time!
