Pasta and chickpeas

Serves 4
  • - 280g mixed pasta
  • - 100ml extra virgin olive oil
  • - 1 clove garlic
  • - 250g dried chickpeas, soaked for 12 hours

How to prepare:

Rinse the chickpeas, transfer to a large pan of fresh cold water and bring to the boil. When the chickpeas are almost cooked, add the pasta to the water and cook until al dente.

Heat the oil in another pan, add the garlic and cook for a few minutes. Drain the cooked pasta and chickpeas and combine with the garlic. Garnish with black pepper.
